Endometrial cancer is one of the most common malignancy of the female genital tract with an increasing incidence globally. It is mainly attributed to the rise in the ageing population, and ongoing obesity pandemic in the world. Though the prognosis of endometrial cancer is good ; recurrence has been reported mainly in high risk early stage or late stage cancers. Recurrent endometrial cancer is associated with a poor prognosis and poor overall survival. We present a case of uterus confined early stage endometrial cancer in a 57 year lady recurring as an intraluminal mass in ileum without serosal involvement with a very short disease free interval , not reported in literature according to our knowledge. It highlights the fact that early stage endometrial cancer is a heterogenous entity requiring identification of prognostic factors that may predict the development of recurrent disease.
