The adaptation of the coronary risk equation from the Framingham Study is a method employed in diverse demographies worldwide, yet over estimation of coronary risk has been observed. Calibration of the original formula has been previously realized for our population, but the evaluation of the influence of novel risk factors over its epidemiological behavior is scarce globally.
